SAAVS Website Design & Build

SAAVS, The Surrey Appropriate Adult Volunteer Service asked Orca to design and build a new website to help raise awareness of their work and at the same time attract new volunteers to offer support to vulnerable adults and young people who find themselves detained in Police custody.

Their new website incorporates a full Content Management System (CMS) to allow the SAAVS team to make updates and add news stories, various online forms to aid visitors to apply online to become a volunteer and submit reports along with an online booking facility to help Surrey Police book an Appropriate Adult attendance more easily. As the nature of some of this information is sensitive and confidential, we have incorporated a secure login access to restricted areas of the website.

The SAAVS website also features Responsive Layout to the pages and online forms,  which allows the website to adjust automatically, giving optimum page layout and fit when viewed on any mobile device, whilst ensuring the website complies with Google’s new search engine rankings policy.
